Hi everyone,
Some questions close to mine were asked here so I'm sorry to, maybe, bother one more time. But can you please give me exact answer? So.. I tried to connect 2 differently meshed volumes by means of interface. And Fluent created wall regions within the interface (picture attached)... I understand that it comes from different grids at interface zones. My questions are: 1) Is it the only way to create VERY fine mesh at interface zones? What if I can not afford it? 2) Is it possible to, maybe, change tolerance for the operation to avoid creation of wall? 3) Can I change a type of created boundary zones from walls to, maybe, internal walls or simply delete them (I haven't found such option). 4) I heard that Fluent 14.5 works this out with option "interface matching". Does it help? (I use 14.0). 5) Some other tips and tricks? Thanks a lot in advance. I'll very appreciate any help. |
