Hi Ankit,

I have recently come across the same error message in Fluent. I found that it has to do with Fluent's memory.

Particularly, the amount of I/O from the software during simulations. Check how much monitors you are running and how many data sets you are saving during the simulation. You will need to reduce the amount of monitors and/or data sets and run the additional sets again later.

Fluent seems to have errors saving the monitors and keeping the memory in storage, so you need to select only key monitors and data recording. Once the simulation has finished, you can run it again, or continue the simulation, but this time with the other monitors instead. Keep the amount of I/O to a minimum.

Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I have the heap limit reached problem when I have finished the hook of udf and want to save the cas file. The udf is used for calculation but not to save and output data.

When I found your suggestion at upside, I try to switch off all of monitors, but the problem still occurs here.

I have no idea at this moment, could you please give me some ideas?
