I have a rotor/stator/housing model that rotates around the vertical (Y) axis. I would like to measure the torque acting on the rotor blades. Is there a way by which this can be done in Fluent?
I have layered each of the rotor blades in ICEM. So, ideally, I should be able to get the torque acting on each of these blades, from FLUENT.

Please help..
Thanks.

Surely the torque can be calculated from the integral of the pressure on the blades times the effective radius.

report/forces...
choose moment (or torque I don't remember anymore), and set the right point for computing it. Check that the torque around Y-axis doesn't change when you set it with another point (but still on the Y-axis)
