Incomplete DPM

Hello

I am working in Fluent DPM mode. In DPM i have selected 100,000 number of steps but still I m getting "incomplete results. out of 52 particles 31 are incomplete while others are trapped (my given DPM condition is trapped at the outlets). My goal is to calculate number of particles at the outlet by counting the particles trapped at the outlets.

Could anybody tell me why i m getting incomplete particle tracking? just to mention i have put reflect boundary condition also on the wall other than outlet.

Please help me in this regard. Thanks
Mohsin

“Incomplete” trajectories are those that were terminated when the maximum allowed number of time steps — as defined by the Max. Number of Steps input in the Discrete Phase Model Dialog Box (see Numerics of the Discrete Phase Model) — was exceeded.

have you tried to increase the number of time steps?
