making movie under tecplot with dat files
I am studying blood flow and I am using Fluent 6.3 for my computation.
I decomposed a heart beat into 100 time steps, and I have 1 dat file for each time step. I wanted to use Tecplot to make a movie. But I have some hard time when creating the macro. I couldn't find any helpful information in the manual. anybody knows how to deal with this problem? |

Animate -> Time -> (destination: to "to file", set the format, etc) You can do the same thing by clicking the "..." button on the sidebar, next to "Time" To record a macro: Scripting -> Record macro -> (specify its name) Animate -> Time -> (whatever) (click "stop recording") To play the macro: Scripting -> Play macro -> (specify its name) or: tec360 yourmacro.mcr |
thank you for your answer.
I am using Tecplot 360 as you guessed, sorry to forgot mentioning it. I will try what you suggest ASAP. |
