I am studying blood flow and I am using Fluent 6.3 for my computation.
I decomposed a heart beat into 100 time steps, and I have 1 dat file for each time step.
I wanted to use Tecplot to make a movie. But I have some hard time when creating the macro.
I couldn't find any helpful information in the manual.
anybody knows how to deal with this problem?

Do you have specific improvements for how we should improve the FSI animation tutorial in the Tecplot Getting Started manual (?/doc/tecplot/tpgs.pdf) or the video tutorial of this?

You don't specify which version of Tecplot you're using, so I will assume Tecplot 360. The step from the GUI would be:

Animate -> Time -> (destination: to "to file", set the format, etc)

You can do the same thing by clicking the "..." button on the sidebar, next to "Time"

To record a macro:
Scripting -> Record macro -> (specify its name)
Animate -> Time -> (whatever)
(click "stop recording")

To play the macro:
Scripting -> Play macro -> (specify its name)
or:
tec360 yourmacro.mcr
