horizontal film boiling

Hi there,

I am modeling film boiling for the case of impinging jet. I would like to try more approaches. The jet is unconfined and jet itself is modeled with help of VOF model. From that reason I would like to stick to vof model also in case of vapour layer modeling.
I had a look on horizontal film boiling tutorial and I am absolutely confused from physics in UDF attached in files!
For example: in mass source term units are ok (kg/m3-s) However, I do not definetely understand this (C_VOF_G(c,tp)[0]*C_T_G(c,t)[0]+
C_VOF_G(c,tp)[1]*C_T_G(c,t)[1]); What is it stand for?

if there was conductivity * (C_VOF_G(c,tp)[0]*C_T_G(c,t)[0]+
C_VOF_G(c,tp)[1]*C_T_G(c,t)[1])/ NV_MAG(C_VOF_G(c,tp));then I would say yes, it is heatflux through the interface.

Could anybody be so helpful and throw a bit of light on it!
thank you
