boundary condition for compressor

hii to all.
I am doing work on FLUENT to analyze compressor with ideal gas.
but every time i am getting reversed flow or FLUENT having fatal error.
Boundary conditions I am using are:
Inlet : Pressure inlet
Outlet : pressure outlet
Solver : Density based (steady)
Hub,Shroud and side walls : Rotating (Relative to moving ref. frame; rpm=0)
Fluid : moving ref. frame (rpm = 5000)
my actual rpm is 40000 but i want to converge it first at 5000.
i am not giving any pressure or temp values at Outlet,as it should calculate on its own.Is it right??
need urgent reply...
Thank you.

But if there is reversed flow, then FLUENT uses the backflow values that you set. If those values aren't realistic, it could blow out your solution.

boundary condition for compressor

my outlet static pressure is 3.2 atm and total rpm is 40000.
if i am giving this values directly then after few iterations it shows FULENT has fatal error....
so how should i go for the solution..??
thank u..

What does it say besides "Fatal Error"? Segmentation, Access_Violation? Are you using a UDF?
