Boundary Conditions

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Boundary Conditions. I have two volumes. One of them is fluid and second one is a porous medium. This two volumes are divided by one face, this face is Interior (BC). In this face I did a little circle and split faces in gambit. This little circle can be a mass flow inlet with flow direction toward to fluid volume. But when I export mesh to Fluent, grid check failed, because mass-flow-inlet has two adjacent cell zone.

Can somebody help me to solve this problem?

Thanks

Here is a way around the problem that might work. Define your circle as a wall. Fluent will now split this boundary into two boundaries, something like circle-001 and circle-002. If you figure out which of these is the one you want as mass flow inlet, you might be able to change the type of, say, circle-001 from "wall" to "mass flow inlet".
