moment coefficient
 

Hi, all

I am doing an aerofoil simulation now, why the moment coefficient is always positive? the experimental data that I have is negative. Does anybody have the same problem with me?

I think it depends on your coordinate system. From the pilot's perspective, a nose-up pitching moment is positive, but in a right-handed coordinate system, it's negative.
