Turbulent intensity for pressure Outlet Boundary condition

Can anybody tell me that how can i specify the turbulent intensity at the outlet if i dont know the velocity or any other parameter at the outlet?

In my case I have a verticle cylinder from which air is coming from the top. Pressure outlet condition requires an input of turbulent intensity and hydraulic diameter. I know the hydraulic diameter but i dont know the Turbulent intensity at the outlet. How to specify that parameter as i dont know the velocity etc at the outlet.

Thanks

These inputs are only used in case of backflow. You can simply estimate an average velocity based on mass flow rate and diameter and then estimate the turbulent intensity. If outlet doesn't differ too much from inlet, you can even impose the same values...but rememeber that if you don't expect a backflow, this won't affect your calculations
