Winglet meshing

Hey!

I need to mesh a wing with taper and a winglet at the end.
For a finite wing without the winglet, I had used the cooper scheme..

But can't do that with the winglet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Unstructured mesh (tetrahedrons).

Do

Re:

Thanks for the reply..
I thought of using them but dont know how to proceed

First I mesh the entire surface of the wing+winglet using with tri pave elements.
But then, how do I expand it to the volume?

Need help on this..

-Thanks1

I can't help you here, my suggestion is to do one of the Gambit tutorials that involves 3D unstructured meshes. The idea is simple create surfaces and volumes, mesh the surfaces with triangles then mesh the volumes with tetrahedrons (just look in the Mesh->Volumes in Gambit), conceptually it is simpler to use an unstructured grid but you need to learn Gambit in order to do this.
