Hi guys,
I am simulating the flow over an aircraft wing. I am able to easily get the pressure contour plot on my wall. I were wondering if ansys would be able to give the pressure value on each cell on my wall? Like a (x,y,z) vs Pressure. I know I can get this manually with the probe but is there any way to do it automatically? Thanks in advance. |

Go to File=>Export=>Solution Data and choose the surface & choose pressure as the variable to export. You also have the choice of node values vs "cell" values. You can write ascii tables and so forth. You can easily read the ascii table into excel or matlab, etc.
Note that if you forget to select a surface, it will write all the pressures in the entire cell zone. |
