Hi all,

I am studying the flow throught a valve by varying the pressure difference accross it.

I am using the pressure-based solver with the coupled algorithm and first order discretization.

I impose a total pressure at the inlet and a static pressure at the outlet.

For a ratio of inlet pressure to outlet pressure of 1.1 & 1.2 I get converged solutions. When I try to get a solution for a ratio of 1.3, the residuals and variables begin to oscillate.

The maximum mesh skewness is 0.79 and maximum aspect ratio of 16.

Thanks in advance for help.
