Non Premixed Combustion

Hi everyone,

Am a student. My Msc project is simulating 3-D non-premixed combustion in gas turbine engine.
I had run the steady state continuous phase. Then i created a injection and simulated the unsteady state DPM phase with kerosene-air mixture.

Now, am required to do combustion modelling. am not sure if i should run it in steady state or unsteady state. Also i need to know how to carry out the combustion simulation. should i give a high temperature source and re-run the DPM phase or should i change my species-transport to non-premixed combustion and perform combustion.

The fuel am using is kerosene-air mixture.

It would be of great help if someone can assist me in this and also i would be very helpful if u can provide some materials regarind combustion simulation.

Thanks

non-premixed combustion

i wonder can i use ideal gas for density in case of non premixed combustion beacuse it is opligatory as i am using pressure fare field as BC and my proprelem includes external supersonic flow and combustion of species out by mass inlet

please help

thanks

non-premixed Methane combustion

Hi everyone
I want modeling non-premixed Methane combustion in FLUENT!
I want to use my GRI-3 reaction
But the models Eddy dissipation , Eddy dissipstion concept which I choose
