Hi.

I need some help. I need to run a simulation from a pneumatic conveying system in fluent, but i have some questions, what boundary conditions should i use?, is possible to use more than one boundary condition in the air inlet? i`m working whit a 2d planar model, can it make errors?

thank you

Hi dear.

I am student in master level in mechanical engineering from IRAN. I want to simulate " design of pneumatic conveying materials in Horizontal pipe by Fluent". This is my Final project and in next level I want to make that and compare all result.

I try to simulate but unfortunately I couldn't. Could you please guide me for design ( step by step in Fluent)!!!?

with best wishes

Modheji

Do you know how to simulate such flow but without particles -just air-?

In first thank you that you answer me .
I have two phase Gas and Solid. I could simulate just air but for simulate other phase (Solid) I couldn't.If it possible I want know all step of simulation or in a complete Example.

all step for example :
1-Difine Material > ...
2-...
3-.

You need to use discrete phase model and create injection

Hi Modheji, did you figure out how TO SIMULATE THE Pneumatic Conveying? If so, what did you find out. Do help me as I'm stuck in the same thing now
