I am simulating two-phase (gas and liquid) flow in micromixer. I am using Fluent (VOF ethod). I already obtained the slug flow. I want to know how can I calculate the gas and liquid slug lengths usig UDF or anyother metod.

Thank you..

I need to do something similar. I have to determine the position of the nose of Taylor bubble . I thought making a UDF for determine the maximum axial position where of the volume fraction of gas is zero, but I don't know how introduce it in FLuet.

If you know another form for determine the position of the nose of Taylor bubble, please help me

help me please, how you got the slug flow? what were your input parameters? and configuration of the model?

Hi,

I solved unsteady gas-liquid flow in micromixer. The boundary conditions are inlet velocity for the two inlets and outlet flow at the outlet. The gas is the primary phase and the liquid is the secondary. I have pictures for the flow contour but i donot know how to send it to you.

Regards,

Mohamed

Thanked by your answer, this is my email, if you have any paper to guide me I would appreciate you let him go, I would like to know how did you see the flow patterns in fluent animations? which is the configuration of time-step tensai.s2000@gmail.com
