Dear FLUENT Users,

I would like to ask with regard to an aeroacoustic simulation. I investigate the flow field of a complicated metal part. Based on the measurements this part is very noisy because of the high speed regions which can develop in the narrow cross sections. (The pressure expands from 10 bar to 2 bar in this unit.) The measurement-points were placed at the outside of this part.

Of course in the reality there is a 5mm thick aluminium wall between the flow field and the measurement-points which should be considered in the simulation as solid domain.
So my question: Can I carry out an aeroacoustic simulation where outside points are investigated with considering the wall thickness?

Thanks in advance
Roland
