Hi,

is there a possibility to tell Fluent from the beginning (before starting a simulation) how much GB RAM of memory it should use? Or let's say it in other words: do I have to "tell" Fluent explicitely that is should use dynamic memory allocation or does this happen automaticly?

Hey,

it would be really nice if someone could answer me this question. I looked into fluents "getting started guide" and there this sentence is written: "Consequently , true dynamic memory allocation,efficient data structures, and flexible solver controls are all possilbe." Since I have a simple simulation running for 2 days that uses just 1.1GB RAM of available 64GB RAM memory, I asked myself if dynamic memory allocation happens automaticaly or if I have to do some presettings in fluent.
