Boundary condition issue, Modeling flow through spacer filled channel

Hi
I am new to Fluent and Gambit. I am trying to simulate flow through a Reverse osmosis membrane. There are six faces of the model. To make the model simple (for the time being) I have defined the top and bottom membrane as WALL (no permeation and no slip). The inlet is defined as "velocity inlet" and the outlet ias "pressure outlet".
  • As far as the last two faces are concerend (which are infact parallel to the flow direction) I am unable to finalize what boundary conditions should I define there.
  • Any one who has tackled such sort of geometery, kindly help me in this regard. What model and solver have you choosen for the problem, since the water entering the domain has some amount of NaCl in it also. Should I use Species transport model or Muliphase model (mixture model) or should I combine both,
Awaiting a favourable response.

Regards

ASIM
