Can anybody tell me what velocity for the particle will be taken at inlet for the following parameters.
Particle diameter = 0.0005m Density = 700 kg/m3 Volume fraction of particle = 0.005 Air velocity = 15 m/s Pipe dia = 0.1m Its a two phase flow of air and particles inside a pipe . when I give no slip velocity at inlet , solution is converged , but the continuity of the particles is not satisfied. Also for high values of volume fraction , there is problem in convergence. Can any body figure out the root cause. Thanks PP |
