Moving Meshes or Rotating Refrence frame is suitable for Rotating Blades?

Dear all,

could you tell me if i want to rotate 2 blades of wind turbine in 1 zone which solution is appropriate? Rotating Reference frame or Sliding meshes (Moving meshes)

I attached a schematic of my blades and domain

you can use both of them,
but i can recommend single rotating reference frame,
it makes the problem easy,

I suggest you to use Moving Mesh method and solve the unsteady problem. Solution with rotating reference frame is a steady one, so depends by the position of your blades

For my thesis on a Savonius VAWT i used sliding mesh for 2d and 3d simulations and the results were very good.Sliding mesh is also very simple to use.Regards.
