hi my freinds!
i write a udf for the outlet B.C ! i have 8 core pc , & windows is 7 ! i wanna run fluent in parallel on my pc ! is it possible to use udf in this condition???? i look forward for yours attention!!!!! |

Yes, you can use udf in parallel, however, you have to parallelize the code. Parallelization is really easy for UDFs due to Fluent's available directive, like RP_HOST, etc. Just look for it in documentation.
You can try using it without parallelization, however, as you said you are using to specify a boundary condition, most likely you are using DEFINE_PROFILE, so, parallelization is must else it will give issues. |

[because it is the Boundary condition udf?] ya? do i understand correctly? |

when i interpreted the udf , i get the below message, the error part that i make it bold !!! i dont know if this is an important error, but why in the outlet i can use this boundary udf!!!!!!!! or why fluent allow me to start the iteratation with no problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
