hi guys,
I need some assistance on eulerian two fluid model for gas- solid flow . Is it possible to define the coeffcient of restitution for wall - particle collsion. I am not finding that in fluent. Its a different value than particle-partice collsion.

Hi,
if you're using to the dense discrete particle model, the restitution coefficients of the discrete phase are accessible under
Boundary Conditions -> [BC][Phase: mixture] -> Edit... -> DPM tab

I don't think that a restitution coefficient can be set in pure Euler/Euler, as the solid phase is not fully modeled as a collective of discrete particles in this approach.

Either you'll have to work with the specularity coefficient found under:Boundary Conditions -> [BC][Phase: phase-2] -> Edit... -> Momentum tab
or you'll have to switch to another model which resolves the solid phase as discrete particles (DPM/DDPM).
