How can i set the melting for pure material in FLUENT?
I define the liquidus and solidus temperature as same temperature(Ts=Tm=Tl) for pure material, but no melting appear in there. i check the liquid fraction in contours of solidification/melting part, I can't find any change of liquid fraction.
If i input the different temperature as solidus and liquidus, It seemed work well.
What is problem?
In the manual of Fluent, they also provide to define one temperature(Ts=Tl) for pure material, and they mentioned, when i use the one temperature for pure meterial, specific heat method is used instead of enthalpy-porosity method.
Do i need to tread something for pure material case explicitly?
Please let me know even though it's simple advice.
Thanks
