Hello all,

I am simulating a room having phase change material inside it to maintain the temperature of the room at a certain level when the ambient conditions are at very low temperature. I want to model the presence of humans inside the room ( 4 persons). I am taking 100 W heat load as the heat generation inside a normal human being.
My question is how do i model the human load presence of 100*4=400 W inside the room. I have thought of defining the human load in 2 ways:
(i) Provide heat load to the walls of the room ( 4 walls). 100 W to each wall.
(ii) Split the floor surface of the room into 4 rectangular faces of 5 feet x 1.5
feet, and provide 100 W heat generation to the split surfaces.

Which way would be better ?
Also kindly let me know any other better way to model the presence of human load.
