fluent has laminar model in viscous panel but no information about it in its manual. can somebody provide me a link explaining about "laminar model". what equations it is solving. is there any assumption like "in-compressibility.. etc thanks in advance

Laminar model would just solve the continuity equation and the Navier stokes equation. It will not solve for the turbulent parameters (k, epsilon etc). However, it does not make any assumption that the flow is incompressible or the properties are constant, etc..

hi
you can decide the property of fluid under the material windows so you can indicate the type of fluid (air, water, ecc.. ) and the property density ( constant, incompressible , compressible .. ). |
