natural convection inside a cylinder

Hello,

I am trying to simulate a natural convection flow inside a cylinder...........heat flux on lateral surface and adiabatic bottom and top surface .please could any one, help me with this case. I am trying to find a benchmark similar to my case to validate with , but didn't find

Thank you for your help

Hi, I've been simulating for my Bachelor thesis a solar water seater with an arregment of concentrical tubes (simplificating it's just a a few cilinders), you can find the geometry in the mesh section of the forum, or searching in my previous posts, the simulation involves the buoyant driven flow knowed as thermosyphon effect, it's a little difficult to simulate it and takes several time to obtain convergence. There are some journals on sciencedirect of this case, for me specially works this one:

Budihardjo, I., Morrison G.L., Behnia M. (2002): Performance of a Water-in-Glass Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heater, School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Check it, probably helps.
