flow around a cylinder 3d rapid convergence

I am running a simulation to obtain a Karman vortex street. the flow is around a 3D cylinder, I have read some other posts on how to deal with this.

I just want to make sure if it is normal to get convergence after 1 iteration. the system is using S-A model, transient, Re=15000, velocity=7.3 m/s, time step of 0.001 s.

the system is currently only 1.3 seconds into the flow regime, but want to make sure that convergence in one iteration is normal this early because it is too soon to obtain the Karman vortex street or if there may be something wrong with my mesh (about 400,000 elements) or other settings.

I have been getting the same issues using Laminar, K-E and SST.

any advice would be appreciated.

I also have another post here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...ction-udf.html

any advice with that would also be appreciated.

thank you for your time.
