MPI error in ANSYS Fluent 12.1
 

Dear Guys,

Merry Christmas!

I am running parallel simulation with 8 cores distributed in two PCs using Fluent, and got the following error message:

MPI Application rank 5 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status -1073741819
999999 (..\src\mpsystem.c@1149): mpt_read: failed: errno = 10054
999999: mpt_read: error: read failed trying to read 4 bytes: No such file or directory
The Parallel FLUENT process could not be started.

Is this problem related with network? I mean if there is something wrong with network, these two PCs cannot connect with each other, so rank 5 exited.

I'm guessing you're running Fluent under Windows?

Yes. I am running Fluent on Window 7.

any help relating to this problem?
