Hey guys;
I've been using fluent a long time and it is my first time I need to work with water boiling process, it's been a little hard by just reading the tutorials I'd appreciate any help, specially about how does UDF works ?
I've read some tutorials and it looks like a magic numbers, but I'd like to know what does UDF mean? how do I create my own ? When do I need a new UDF, for each simulation I need a new one, for each material ? for each boundary condition ? for each operation condition ?

...

I simulated boiling about five years ago. And I am not very sure about the detail now. I think the most important thing is that you should determine what boiling theroy is proper. I used the temperature difference driven boiling model (not very sure) by Wenho Lee (1975). And then you could write a source term for the water phase and a source term for the vapor phase according to the theory. Any question you could email me or just talk about it here.

i 'm an undergrad, i'm doing simulation of heat pipe for the evaporation zone for my FYP. So it include boiling. Kindly ask that could you email to me the boiling tutorial that you have receive previously?? i dun have the username and password for the fluent tutorial....
.

I 'm really in desperate stage. Appreciate alot for the help!!! Thanks in advance if u can email to danieleylai@hotmail.com. Thanks alot!!!
