I created one volume and patch it with two separate phases with VOF, water at the bottom and air at the top. Then, I would like to have one mass flow inlet of water at the top of the air. The water from mass flow inlet will pass through the air and being added to the water at the bottom. One question here, will the volume of the water at the bottom part being increased due to the addition of water from the mass flow inlet at the top? Since in order to use VOF, it is time-consuming and I am rush in time to know its results. Thanks for help.

Hi
Why you want to set only one mass for water at air inlet? Did you mean that you want to use mixture mass flow rate? If it's so you need to define the mass flowrate at the overall inlet and set the vof for the secondary phase? Furthermore what is the flow pattern it is seem like stratified flow? |
