What is the difference between interior and interface boundary conditions and when they can be used properly in modeling? thanks in advance for your answer. best wishes, |
*interior can be attached on a surface which is inside a fluid domain (understand one connected mesh). For instance in gamit, if your mesh is made of multiple connected volumes, then one interior-bc could be on split-surface
The only purpose of this kind of BC (from my side) is to get some info on this surface (like masfflow, or any average-quantity) *interface can be used if you want to "glue" 2 meshes without connecting them in gambit, but it is necessarly if you want to use sliding mesh (Single Reference Frame, Multiple Reference Frame, etc...).
