Hello everyone.

For my thesis, I have to simulate pressure losses in an urban environment.

I have read in the fluent literature that a porous jump is more robust and converges better than porous media.

To define a porous media i have adapted->marked and finally separated a grid volume.

For a porous jump I was thinking of marking a face of the already separated volume. Is there another way of doing this?

Also, what is the influence of the air velocity angle towards the porous jump? I would like to simulate different configurations to see what would be the effect on the urban environment simulation.

And to understand the differences must i analyse the velocity and pressure maps?

Thank you in advance,
Samy
