hi everyone

i am trying to read a case on fluent, an airfoil meshed in 2d but then it comes up with

FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION)
1. Note exact events leading to error.
2. Save case/data under new name.
3. Exit program and restart to continue.
4. Report error to your distributor.

could someone please tell me whats the problem....
thank you

the error message offers no help. you need to do as it says and contact your support office. could be a setup problem.

That message appears for many mistakes. It could be as simple as your mesh being incorrect and unable to be read by FLUENT. I have had that problem many times and you just need to double check your mesh in ICEM if that is where you are creating it.
