Hi,

I'm fairly new to ANSYS so bear with me. I've been trying to model a helicopter blade rotating near a wall. So what I've done is basically, developed a blade and contained it inside an cylindrical enclosure. After that I've made another box enclosure to simulate the walls outside. I've created named selections for the relevant sections. I didnt suppress the blade body though. So after all this when using FLUENT to get a solution, I've come across the error that states ' model information file is not compatible with mesh' .

Any idea on what i've been doing wrong?

Would greatly appreciate any tips.

Thanks

Hi!
I have the same or at least a similar problem. I created named selections in the DM which I need for meshing. I don't need all of them for the solution though and thus activated "No" in the box "send to solver" for the named selctions not needed. But then I get the same error message "model information file is not compatible with mesh" and beeing asked if I 'would like to match these zones to make model compatible with mesh'
Did you find any solution for your problem? Or does any one else know how to solv it?
Thanks,
Mara
