I have a problem with the mesh created in the ICEM CFD ,which was read into the fluent software.I cannot dedine the rotationary periodic boundary conditions.
grid/modify-zones/make-periodic periodic zone [()] 7 shadow zone[()] 8 rotational periodic?(if no,translational) [yes] yes create periodic zones? [yes] yes zone7: matched 0 out of 2318 faces zone8: matched 0 out of 2318 faces error:failed to make zones periodic error object:#f Wish someone can help me,thank you. |

I am quite new to ICEM CFD software. I am trying to mesh a rotor. If you have any tutorial about meshing rotor, could you please send it to my email: venkat.aero2007@gmail.com could you please tell me the strategy that you followed to mesh your rotor thanks in advance for your information. |
