Matlab mesh import

Hi,

I have just recently developed an elliptic grid generator in matlab. What would be the easiest way of importing this mesh into Fluent? Would anyone have perhaps a code or some advice?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

it should be possible to write this in Fluent's msh format. You will need to study the syntax of the msh file, you can do this by generating some simple meshes in Gambit or ICEM-CFD.

I am interested to know how i can use matlab for meshing, i mean which module of matlab can be useful in this regard and how much effective would it be??

thanks in advance

Matlab includes a module for unstructured mesh generation:

about the effectiveness of the module I can't give you an opinion, I've used this only once.
