Hi,
I have been trying to simulate the flow over a rectangular cylinder but I still couldn't get the CD close to the results published on paper. I used k-epsilon method to obtain a steady state results before using LES to find the unsteady state. Boundary Condition :- Inlet Velocity : 0.32 m/s Turbulent Intensity : 4.58% Turbulent Length : 0.07 m Reynolds Number is 22000 My drag Coefficient is approximately 1.4~1.6 and the CD published on paper was 2.0~2.2. I attached my fluent mesh file which I uploaded on Megaupload and hope that someone can identifies my mistakes. Thanks in advance http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8UFLGI3U Thank you. |
