Hi,

I would like to inject a specific number of particles through a surface. I tried to use the injection panel, with mass flow rate, diameter and material but It doesn't work, the number of particles is still growing.

How can I set a maximum number of particles ??

Thank you in advance

Ben

Hi Ben,
to set specific particle stream over a surface, you can build a virtual plane in surface->plane and it should be bounded and also sampled. if you set this surface as your injection plane, the total particle stream will be equal to sample points number.

Hi Amir
I have question with your solution
I made virtual bounded plane with sample point in fluent. but where can I select this virtual plane as injection plane. I entered set injection properties tab and select injection type as surface. there is no virtual plane in surfaces.
How can I deal with it?
