Hi,
I am a new FLUENT USER, i want to carry out a simulation. and i need to know how can i change or control my node indices. in such way that i can impose an initial random Velocity field and unsteady fluctuations at the boundary (node by node) using UDFs. For post processing i will do statistics using my own Programs?. (it's non uniform grid then i can't use coordinates to do these tasks)

Hope that it was clear. don't hesitate for further information about the simulation.

any help would be great. Sorry i am very new to fluent.

Hi Belamou,
first you should know that you can set parameters on cells not nodes, you can access values one nodes by interpolating manually over cells.(except nodes coordinates)
in ordering of nodes, I have such experience in structured grids, you can print coordinates of nodes in a file for finding out the order that FLUENT uses but for unstructured grids it's too difficult I think.
