Hi,
I am a new FLUENT USER, i want to carry out a simulation. and i need to know how can i change or control my node indices. in such way that i can impose an initial random Velocity field and unsteady fluctuations at the boundary (node by node) using UDFs. For post processing i will do statistics using my own Programs?. (it's non uniform grid then i can't use coordinates to do these tasks) Hope that it was clear. don't hesitate for further information about the simulation. any help would be great. Sorry i am very new to fluent. |

Hi Belamou,
first you should know that you can set parameters on cells not nodes, you can access values one nodes by interpolating manually over cells.(except nodes coordinates) in ordering of nodes, I have such experience in structured grids, you can print coordinates of nodes in a file for finding out the order that FLUENT uses but for unstructured grids it's too difficult I think. |
