Hi group,

I have a question about the possibilities of Fluent.

Consider you have a box filled with an alloy of 2 salts. From the outside you define a temperature that is above the phase transition temperature of the alloy, i.e., the alloy will start to melt.
The question is can I model this process including the time development of the melting front as it moves from the outer surface to the core of the salt?
Can I model the temperature distribution dynamically?
Do I need user defined functions for this kind of simulation?

Thank you very much in advance!

JC
