How to calculate RPM from flow conditions
Hello,
I would like to learn how to actuate a geometry from a given flow.I'm not interested in rotating the geometry with a UDF and then looking at the flow. I want the flow to do work on the geometry, not the inverse.(Think of a turbine instead of a compressor) I aim to learn this by applying it onto simple 2D geometries at first. (i.e. I think I can add thin fins onto a circular cross section and try to create flow induced rotation) And please do not tell me that I can get similar results by rotating the geometry and then looking at the flow. I exactly need to calculate the RPM of a geometry by applying a flow onto it. Thanks. |
