Is it possible to merge a 2D axisymmetric and 3D (22.5° cake slice) in Fluent? I´ve heard something about a Tgrid or Multigrid tool, but I´ve never worked with them. The problem is, that my solution is 3D only in the first section and then it is axisymmetric. I have to expand my domain because of a reverse flow in my pressure outlet. I could expand my whole 3D area, but the computational effort would be too great.

Better convergence does not remedy the problem.

Regards,
Patrick
