Hi,
Does anyone knows how to simulate a mesh? As a matter of fact, I am studying fluidization and would like to model a distributor (mesh). I am not clear as to how to use the porous boundary condition in this case. I am using Eulerian-Eulerian approach, with granular flow. Can anyone tell me how to define particle-wall restitution coefficient? Thanks |

Creat separate zone called porous zone, there you can define

I am doing 3d simulation. So, what boundary conditions should I declare at the interfaces. Moreover, how do I calculate the inertial and viscous resistance terms for the phases considering the distributor to be of negligible thickness ? The purpose of having the distributor is to allow only one the phases to pass through it while inhibiting the flow of the other.
