Porous zone coefficent

Hi,

I must create a porous zone to simulate with fluent 13 a honeycomb and a screen in a Wind tunnel.

But I don't know how to find the coefficients : Viscous resistance and inertial resistance.

I read the help of Ansys but I cannot understand how to calculate these coefficients.

I have the pressure loss and all the dimensions of the honeycomb and the screen.

Cheers!

Hi,

I've change method: I use the porous jump, but I don't understand how it work... (strange eh?).
if I try to find the coefficient of losses with the thickness and the loss of pressure it doesn't work.

K = dp / thk

Sorry i really need help, how does it work????

Cheers!

Did you find out which values should be applied for the honeycombs and screens?
