launchpad is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone

I use DPM with reacting flow to simulate pressure swirl atomizers in Fluent. For this, i need to specify hollow cone injection in point properties under injections tab. We need to specify the velocity magnitude, cone angle and swirl fraction for cone injection. Could anyone please tell me how is swirl fraction defined in fluent. whats the expression for it? Also, the velocity magnitude field, does it refer to the velocity magnitude wrt global coordinates, or it refers to the velocity in the direction of cone angle? (which would be the vector sum of axial and radial velocities if both the cone axis and the global coordinate axes are parallel)

Please answer, anybody! Thanks

Neeraj
