ehooi is on a distinguished road
Hi all,
I am attempting to use the Fixed Values option in Cell Zone tab in Fluent. According to Fluent manual, the fixed values for velocity can be specified either in the x y z coordinate system or in the cylindrical coordinate system. To do so in the cylindrical coordinate system, one has to check the local coordinate box.

I tried it, but it still says velocity in the x y and z directions instead of radial, axial and angular directions. Does anyone know what is going on? I am not sure if checking the local coordinate box will change anything but if anyone has an answer, could you please help me?

Thank you. I look forward to your replies.

Sincerely,
EH
