2D Fluent CFD Analysis

Dear Members,

Cheers to all, I am masters student recently working in CFD. I work with Ansys v12.1 with Fluent for CFD. I found the software quite easier than others due to the interface. I have to analyse a 2D cross section, and i modeled it using the design modeler, meshed the surface 2D using the Meshing interface.

When using Fluent, i had some issues. I was able to complete the simulation, but mostly with unbearable results. I were not able to complete the mesh without giving z-axis thickness [But the Fluent asked for analysis type the start 2D/3D, so i think i m doing alrite]

I would really appreciate if someone could guide me with links or videos or tutorials for Fluent [esp 2D fluid flow analysis]. I am running a bit late in schedule, so any piece of advice would be greatly valued. Looking forward your reply members!
