Hi,

Did anybody ever see the error;

Error: FLUENT received a fatal signal (SEGMENTATION VIOLATION). Error Object: () Error encountered in critical code section Error: Unknown object encountered in garbage collection Error Object: #[unknown type 14592] Error encountered in critical code section

Hit return to exit.

you see the same error message as you hit the enter key. Closing cross at the corner does not work either. it is weird since it is an unknown type of error for Fluent also.

regards emre

Hi, I met this error in last two weeks at my university. My reason is virus attacked the internet or somewhere else in your computer.When the internet doesn't work, Fluent gave the error as you said.I hope this could give you a hint.

If you are using udf/adjust function which need some proper initialization of some values then fluent may give this type of error I don't think it is because of any virus. Could U describe your problem. Rahul

There is no udf. It may really be originating due to a virus, since the performance of the computer is creeping. i will scan it.
